These refreshing scents of rain soaked leaves and rose blossoms are inspired by St. Thérèse of Lisieux. She is the patron saint of the missions, missionaries, aviators, florists, and priests. Her feast day is October 1.
Behind the Inspiration
Countless have prayed to Thérèse, popularly known as the “Little Flower,” because of her famous promise: “After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses. I will spend my heaven doing good upon earth. I will raise up a mighty host of little saints.”
The scents of her candle are a creative interpretation of this promise, with fragrances of rain soaked leaves and rose blossoms.
St. Thérèse of Lisieux, pray for us.
